Although we stayed open throughout it has been a very quiet 100 days for us. We are thrilled to be welcoming back many of our guests and we thank you all for your kind words throughout this difficult period.
In order to facilitate the safest possible return to normal we have adjusted some of the ways we do business. We have complied with the government's guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19, the guidance from the Canine and Feline Sector Group (CFSG) and we have also completed a certificated course on COVID 19: Disease Control for Pet Professionals with the Pet Industry Federation.
As a licensed facility we already have very good virus control measures in place so we are well equipped to make the necessary adjustments to our practice in the wake of COVID-19. We have increased cleaning, hand washing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance to ensure products meet the EN14476 pass-mark for use against Coronavirus.
To further reduce risk, from Wednesday 1st July, until further notice, we are:
Temporarily stopping viewings - we are working on a video tour and still very happy to discuss over the phone.
Closing the front office - payments will be taken over the phone where possible and we will greet you in the open air car park to reduce person to person contact in a small space.
Allocating time slots - we will agree a time for drop-off and collection with you to reduce the number of people present at once.
We recognise that emerging from such a crisis feels different for everyone. Increased anxiety caused by returning to normal activities is to be expected and we encourage you to call us if you would like to talk through any concerns you may have.
Returning to normal will also be strange for your dog who has probably thoroughly enjoyed you being home for so long. We have taken top tips from the UK's best loved national pet charities and experts to help them settle with us.
We are really looking forward to seeing you and your dogs soon!

17th March 2020
These are unprecedented and heart-breaking times for everyone. The Coronavirus situation is rapidly evolving and we wanted to let you know what we are doing at Bezels Countryside Boarding to manage the impact.
Firstly, we will remain open and are 100% committed to the care we provide. Our kennels already operate very high levels of hygiene and your dog would not be at risk from boarding.
To reduce risk to you and our staff, from Tuesday 17th of March, we are:
Stopping all viewings - we are working on a video tour and still very happy to discuss over the phone.
Closing the front office - payments can be taken over the phone and we will greet you in the open air car park to reduce person to person contact in a small space.
If you wish to book a stay with us please call us on 02392 632552. We are now accepting bookings with no deposit for stays in March, April and May.
If you need to cancel a booking due to coronavirus you will receive the full amount in credit for a future stay. As a small business our terms and conditions state that deposits are not refundable, however, if you need to cancel bookings due to coronavirus you will not lose any money.
We truly value your custom and wish you and your family good health. We will be here for you when we all emerge from this.
